• Expertise in international transport is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating all aspects of international moves, managing multiple clients at all times.
• Executing top-tier customer service while managing a constant inflow of calls and emails at all stages of client interaction, from quotes and requests to ongoing moves and post-move questions.
• Daily lead and quote assessments.
• Always on the lookout for new business opportunities.
• Maintaining correspondence with various partners and foreign companies and including managing calendars and schedules.
• Ensuring prompt invoicing within 24 hours of job completion.
• Tracking invoices and inputing them into ERP Sirius Online, overseeing their prompt payment.
• Bonuses are provided when financial and operational targets are reached.

As a junior accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance department and ensuring accurate financial records, compliance, and efficient financial operations. This position is suitable for candidates who are still in university or recent graduates with a passion for accounting and a keen eye for detail.

**This is a part-time position (total of 10 hours per week) which requires in-person presence at our Batajnica office 3-5 days per week**

Responsibilities

Financial Data Entry and Record Keeping:

• Enter financial transactions into the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain and organize financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other relevant documents
• Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any issues that may arise.

Tax and Compliance:

• Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Assist in preparing tax-related documents, including VAT returns and tax filings.
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the company’s financial operations.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Assist management in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist management in monitoring outstanding payments and follow up with clients or vendors to ensure timely payments.
• Maintain a clear and up-to-date accounts receivable and accounts payable aging report.

Budgeting and Expense Management:

• Support management in preparing and monitoring budgets
• Track and analyze expenses to ensure compliance with approved budgets.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and contribute to financial efficiency.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Review invoices.
• Utilize online banking platforms and financial systems to track payments.

General Accounting Support:

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve accounting-related queries.

Skills and Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or recent graduate in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Strong academic performance and understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
• Familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets)
• Ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced firm environment
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mentality
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance is advantageous but not mandatory.
